The Classic Sophie Look

My all-time favorite look is the neutral warm fall look. I discovered this look about 3 years ago when I went back to Taiwan. I absolutely love it! You can intensify the look if you're going out to a party or soften the look if you're going to school. It's quick, easy and fits everyone!

Step 1: Make sure your face is squeaky clean! I like to wash my face with Johnson Johnson: Clean&Clear Deep Cleanse before I put my make up on so my face feels fresh.
Step 2: Apply a hydrating base face lotion so that your skin is smooth and healthy. I've been using the Shiseido Benifiance: Daytime Protective Cream for a while, and it's been working out for me. Everyone's skin is different, some might be extra dry or oily, so look for the one that absorbs well with your skin.
Step 3: IF..there are any blemishes/pimples/ bags under your eyes, apply foundation or concealer where it is needed. I prefer not to use foundation because it clogs up my skin and makes my skin break out. The foundation that works great with a lot of people is the MAC: Liquid Foundation.
Step 4: Apply a white/clear sparkly eyeshadow at the beginning of your eyelid as a base.
Step 5: Then, apply a dark brown eyeshadow starting from the end of your eyelid, and smooth it out. You want the end of your eye to be darker.
Step 6: Put a thin line of black liquid eyeliner on and a tiny cat-eye effect. The black liquid eyeliner will give the eye more definition. The liquid eyeliner I use is the Maybelline: Line Stiletto.
Step 7: Curl your lashes and apply mascara! Just use your favorite mascara, mine is the Great Lash Mascara.
*Step 8: You can also add a little bronzer to your cheekbones, which will intensify your look, so if you're going for a night out look, it'll be perfect! And if you have small eyes like me, you can cut a whole fake lash and put it at the outer corner of your eyes, which will make your eyes appear wider and give the doll like effect. I use the NARS Bronzing Power-Laguna for the bronzer.

Here's the look! You can get most of these products at a Drug Store (CVS, Rite-Aid, etc..) It's simple, it gives your eye a neutral warm look, and it's perfect for the fall! :)

Xoxo,
Sophie
